Coach Clausen
Coach Clausen has been playing chess for over 20 years. He competed in scholastic tournaments as a youth and now competes in USCF (United States Chess Federation) rated tournaments all over the US. He currently holds a USCF rating of 1521.
Coach Clausen has been teaching children since 2005. In addition to visual and vocal instruction, he has developed an in class workbook to ensure that each child has learned important points of the lesson. Additionally, parents receive feedback about their child’s performance on each lesson.
Coach Clausen is a USCF Tournament Director. He hosts monthly trophy tournaments for children. Tournaments are a chance to test your new skills against other children.
